Dear WNO Member,
Here is some important information about WNO meetings this year:
For over eight years we have been a community providing all our members--those in transition as well as those employed--an opportunity to network with each other, learn about the job search process and market conditions from presentations and other sources of information, and resume and professional counseling support. We all share at least two things in common: We know what it is like to be in transition, and we know that by working together we can help each other. WNO itself is currently in the middle of a transition. Due to requirements recently imposed on the Croton Free Library, we are no longer able to meet there. We deeply appreciate the support the Croton Free Library has given us, and your dedication to travel to get to the meetings. This change, however, is an opportunity to find a new meeting location more convenient to more of our members. We are considering two locations in and near Greenburgh. Both are more conveniently located for our members who come from southern Westchester, New York City, Connecticut, New Jersey, and the I-684 corridor. For either location, though, we need to change our meeting schedule, which is why your feedback on the questionnaire is important. Your responses will inform our immediate decisions and help shape our future, so that we can continue to offer networking meetings at no cost to you, featuring great guest speakers on a variety of timely career development and job search topics. Please respond to the questionnaire,* and thank you for your membership in the Westchester Networking Organization. Thanks, Jeff. We're still in the process of finalizing location and days/times. Hope to see you at the meetings in 2017.
