Seeing the value of employee engagement and participating to achieve satisfaction in the workplace is critical for job seekers. David Mancari is an accomplished Human Resources Professional. He received his MBA from Syracuse University, BS from Marist College, and is an SHRM Senior Certified HR Professional. Prior to joining Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall in April 2015, David worked for the Target Corporation where he was a Human Resource Manager supporting the Greater New York City metro region. He currently works as the Director, Human Resource Business Partners at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall (MSLC), a non-profit hospital within the Montefiore Health System. Since beginning at MSLC, David has held various roles within the organization including HR Coordinator, HR Business Partner, Manager HR Business Partners, and currently Director HR Business Partners where he oversees employee & labor relations, employee engagement programs, training & development, legal & regulatory affairs, leave of absence administration, diversity & inclusion initiatives, talent management, and volunteer services. David also sits on the United Way of Dutchess & Orange County Community Impact Committee and the Mt. St. Mary College Career Advisory Committee. In 2019, David was highlighted as a 2019 “Rising Star” by Human Resource Executive magazine. The magazine highlighted his efforts on developing the next generation of leaders, creating the D&I strategy, and improving the recruiting process.
