November 2021 WNO Meeting: Authenticity is a Superpower

Truly being ourselves, with all of our strengths, flaws, and imperfections, is the greatest gift we can give to the world. In this session, participants will explore the concept of authenticity and the importance of creating environments where people can show up, express themselves, and be valued as who they truly are. We will look at pathways to being more authentic at work (and in life), consider the barriers to doing so, and discuss what it would mean for each of us to be a truer and more authentic version of ourselves at work and beyond. 

Marissa Badgley, MSW is the Founder of Reloveution and a workplace transformation expert who helps leaders better meet the human needs of their employees. Influenced by her own journey through burnout and frustration in the workplace, Marissa has developed proprietary tools and frameworks to measure what matters most for human beings at work and to support partners in operationalizing heart (humanity, empathy, authenticity, relationships, and trust) in leadership, culture, and systems. She is a firm believer in the power of love to create sustainable and equitable change.

Marissa is a nationally recognized presenter and facilitator with deep roots in the nonprofit sector and experience working with leaders and organizations from several industries around the globe. She holds a Masters in Social Work (with a concentration in organizational and leadership development) from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelors from Franklin & Marshall College.
